Re-Inspection
of Repairs
Have you requested something be done during the contingency period, and now you need to know if it
was done correctly. Then we are here for your support. All repairs made during a real estate transaction
should be done by a licensed professional, however that does not mean that the quality of work is always the same.
If you need a repair looked at then give us a call.
Warranty Inspection Most
builders provide a one-year warranty for new construction. Generally during this period of time the buyer develops a "punch
list" of corrections for the contractor to repair under the warranty coverage. Some defects will not be obvious to the
untrained eye. It is prudent to obtain our home inspectors list of items that will most likely be repaired by your builder
at no cost to you. You will be reassured knowing that potential problems were addressed before they grew into something that
could cost you a great deal down the road. See our
Inspection Overview for more details.
Radon Measurement
We are NRPP (National Radon Proficiency Program) certified
to measure radon using a Femto-tech Continuous Radon Measurement (CRM) device. With our device we can give you accurate
information about the radon levels in a property in as little as 48 hours with no need to mail samples off or have an independent
lab interpret results. We do all that for you on site after the 48 hour period of closed house conditions.
Radon:
Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas found in soils, rock, and water throughout the U.S. Radon is a threat
to health because it tends to collect in homes, sometimes to very high concentrations. See
Radon FAQ.
