We had a great experience with our kitchen remodel at our home in Escondido with First Choice Home Improvements. The work was done professionally, the timeline was clear, and the quality of craftsmanship really shows. Communication was easy throughout the process, and the finished kitchen turned out exactly how we hoped. We’re very happy with the results and would highly recommend First Choice Home Improvements to anyone planning a kitchen renovation.

I found First Choice Home Improvements through a friend who remodeled a master bathroom with First Choice in Carmel Mountain. She told me about her positive experience and I went to her home and saw the quality work in her beautiful new bathroom. It's hard to find a highly recommended referral from friends. I called Mike for an estimate to remodel two of my bathrooms in Del Mar. Mike and his team are so easy to work with and very responsive to questions and assist with choosing materials. They provided many options for the custom-built vanities, shower tile and trim, faucets, light fixtures and paint which made the selection process easy and stress-free. During the 5 weeks, they kept the project moving on schedule and finished on the day that was promised when I signed the contract. This was my first remodeling project and I absolutely love my two new bathrooms! My experience with First Choice was extremely positive so if you're looking for a dedicated, professional and highly skilled team, Mike with First Choice is the only contractor to call.

Mike, April, and team were incredible from start to finish on our kitchen remodel. We have a small kitchen and felt some of the other contractors we got bids from were not as interested in taking on our project, but when we met with Mike it was obvious there is no project too big or small for them.

Communication was on point, timelines were all met, no surprise extra cost, I will absolutely be using them for any other remodeling we have. The cleanliness his team worked with every day was incredible. They did a full cleanup every single day, vacuuming and wiping things down. Had it not been for the kitchen being gutted you wouldn’t even have known there was work going on. Cannot recommend them enough

Mike, with First Choice Home Improvements, was the perfect partner for our renovation needs. He was able to start on my son's home fully remodeling two bathrooms and a kitchen and then was able to transition to our home with a complete remodel of our main level. The quality of work was exceptional and the timing was perfect. He was able to work within our budget and was there to guide us with design and material selection from beginning to end. We had the best foreman that we could have hoped for which made the whole process much more enjoyable. I recently asked if he could add a custom cabinet to a hallway - built and installed and looks great! We will never go with anyone but First Choice Home Improvements for any future renovations.

Mike was the first contractor I have ever worked with and the one word that comes to mind is “integrity!” He came highly recommended by some friends that have used him for a couple of projects in the past so I had seen his work & heard how reliable his company was. When he ran into a snag he made sure he found someone who could take over and get the job done! Not many people would do what he did. I appreciate him and would recommend his company to anyone looking for a fair, upstanding contractor! Thank you Mike! Kelly & Lauri

We hired First Choice to renovate our laundry room and were super pleased with the end result. The initial work was done by a subcontractor and was good, with the exception of a couple spots that weren't 100% perfect. We communicated our concerns to First Choice and they very promptly returned to our house to address the issue and did everything they could to ensure we were fully satisfied with the work. We'd hire First Choice again with complete confidence in the quality of their work.

Big love for my new bathroom cabinets from First Choice! 🖤 They nailed the modern look I wanted, and the storage space is a game-changer. Every interaction with their team was a breeze – they’re the kind of folks you trust instantly.
